The National Working Group within the World Artistic Dance Federation (WADF), whose President is Nils-Hakan Carlzon. The WADF's mission is to create the most democratic possible environment for all dance schools and organizations. Absolutely anyone can join the Federation. Artistic dance is more than just dance sport competitions. Dancers are judged not only on their technical abilities, but also on their artistry and charisma. Only the masterful synthesis of these two criteria produces a true champion. Artistic dance is, first and foremost, art and culture! Artistic dance allows soloists to participate in major international competitions without the need for a partner. In addition to solo dancing, they can be part of a small or large team, duet, or trio, providing everyone with additional opportunities for self-development and showcasing their skills. Artistic dance comprises seven divisions with over 20 dance disciplines. Competing in these categories, in their age categories, dancers gain many new perspectives and motivation to improve. This diversity of disciplines allows educators and teachers to explore new forms and methods of expression, rather than limit their creativity to narrow boundaries. Artistic dance is multifaceted, and therein lies its richness.
"First of all, all this became possible thanks to the efforts and inspiration of one very beautiful and very active woman, who miraculously combines fragility and strength, femininity and strong-willed character."
